Growing Relationship with God

How are you spiritually? Are you growing or not?


Read Deut. 5:1

People entered into a covenant with God.

3 Commandments of Moses:

  • Christians also, have entered into a covenant with God through Jesus Christ and should be responsive to what God expects. God expects us to grow spiritually.
  • Moses’ threefold command to the Israelites provides excellent advice for all God’s followers.
Do you want to grow your relationship with God?

3 THINGS YOU NEED TO DO TO GROW YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD:
LISTEN - absorb and accept information about God.
LEARN - understand the meaning and implications.
OBEY - if we love God, we must obey Him. Put into action all we’ve learned and understood.
Read Joshua 1:8

SPIRITUAL PROGRESS.. Characteristics of Righteous People:
+ Job 17:9
+ Awit 92:12
+ Kawikaan 4:18
+ 1 Tim. 4:15
Don’t just read, apply it. Meditate the Word of God, let’s grow spiritually.

OBEDIENCE

Read Deut. 8:1

- it tells us to obey God’s commands.

What is Obedience?

- The way to true freedom. (Genesis 3:5)

- Opens door to God’s care. (Exodus 15:26)

- Leads to God’s glory. (Lev. 9:22-23)

- Helps us to accomplish more. (Numbers 2:34)

- Will lead relationships to success. (Joshua 1:6-9)

- It is better than sacrifice or ritual. (1 Sam. 15:22-23)

- Leads to peace. (2 Cro. 14:1-6)

- Can lead to miracles. (1 King 17:13-16)

     - God can change your life. (2 Cor. 5:17)

     - God can restore your family. (Acts 16:31)

     - God can increase your monay. (Malachi 3:8-12)

ROMANS 10:11

THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

JUST PRAY & BELIEVE. :]
